I simply love “I am Bunny” (@whataboutbunny) from Tiktok. Bunny (which happens to be a dog and not a bunny) easily has more words in his vocabulary from the buttons he uses to communicate than most people in the world - including me - . It is extremely impressive how an animal, a pet, can articulate his thoughts into simple human sentences, at times even expressing his concerns about earthquakes and his own existence as he proceeds to examine his reflection on the mirror.
I particularly never considered teaching my dogs how to bark on demand, as I often cannot even motivate them with treats. However Bunny’s owners have created this excruciating necessity to teach my mediocre but adorable pets into saying phrases based on their dreams like Bunny did on the video below.
@whataboutbunny I never know what to say when Buns chats about dreams because I can’t fathom how she might be understanding that word, but it’s been windy and stormy at night recently so we can really hear the waves at night and it tracks that she might be dreaming about something water related #nightmare#dream#aic#communication#smartdog♬ original sound - I am Bunny
I admire the patience and dedication from not only Bunny but also the owners as they constantly need to translate their respective thoughts into eachothers’ coherent understanding process, as dogs most definitely do not think like humans.
