Design, physics and astronomy

Hello! One of my hobbies is to read about quantum physics and astrophysics but I also happen to be a designer so a couple of years ago I started mixing both of them. How do I do that? I read about complex concepts and then I illustrate them in a graphic and simple way. This all started with the need of having comprehensible visuals to complex concepts.
