Fugitive of the Rain
Hold my hand or I will fall
One by one the stars will fall
If I am a poet, if you know me
If you know that I am scared of the rain
If you remember my eyes
Hold my hand or I will fall
Or the rain will take me away
If you hear throbbing at night
Hurriedly I am escaping from the rain
I am passing by Sarayburnu
If it is an evening, if it is September, if I am soaked
You may not understand me if you see me
You grieve and cry secretly
If I am lonely and mistaken
Hold my hand or I will fall
Or the rain will take me away…
