At my early youth in 1993-1998 i attended “Jurates Stauskaites” Art School in Vilnius, Lithuania. Back in the early 90’s just after Lithuania’s Independency from Soviet Union ( in 1991 ) when this Art School was called “Home of Teachers” and in the first few years nuns from the church were running the art classes. So, I learned fundamentals of art history in theory and had a chance to dabble in various technics including basic ones like drawing [ pencils, crayons and chalk] and painting [ acrylics, watercolour and ... ]. I learned basics of composition, still life, portraits, and auto portraits. been lucky to be thought by different teachers that gave practical introductions to more advanced art technology linoleum cutting, batik and even making paper from the scratch! the inspiration for my later artworks come from the greatest - Joan Miro and Pablo Picasso and, from my travels where i learn about other cultures. i am fascinated by Spanish and South American countries - these will always have special place in my heart. Currently i live in Denmark 9 years and going!
