Succulents are a group of plants that store water in their leaves. The leaves tend to be thick and fleshy,
fleshy leaves
or pads but some genus and species have thicker leaves than others but there are also non-succulent leaved
varieties.
Succulents tend to thrive in dry climates and don't like a lot of humidity.
Include a wide variety of genus and species and therefore come in a variety of colors, shapes, and
textures.
While most types of succulents require warm temperatures, moderately dry, well-draining soil and sunlight,
some can withstand cooler or even downright cold temperatures.
These hardy succulents are able to withstand brief freezes and fend off frost damage. Occasionally, cold
snaps will force a plant into dormancy, but well established hardy types will spring back when warm weather
returns. It is important to know if your succulent is a tropical or hardy variety in instances where it is
planted
outdoors.
Suculentas plants also represent prosperity, abundance, life and development, hence the importance of their
good
condition.
