Pick yourself up when you're feeling down
We all have those days when we feel low or anxious. Yet there are a few
small and simple ways we can shift our energy to help shake it off.
Tips to lift your day
- 🥾 Get moving. Go for a walk, run, or get outside in nature.
- 🙋🏽 Connect with a friend or family member.
- ☕ Better still, invite yourself around for a cup of tea.
- 😌 Be present. Mindfulness helps root you in the here and now.
- ✍️ Declutter your mind. Jot thoughts or worries down on paper.
- ✨ Clear your space at home. Cleaning can be theraputic too!
- 🧘 Try 5-10 minutes of meditation or deep breathing.
- 🎵 Listen to music you enjoy. Sing along.
- 🫶 Reflect on 3-5 things you feel grateful for.
- 🐈 Snuggle with a furry friend. Cat. Dog. Or other furry beast.
- 🛀 Have a bath. A hot chocolate. An early night.
