Virtual reality is a form of gaming that uses advanced technology to make the player feel like they are really in the game. Players wear a headset that doubles as a screen and speakers, and hold a special controller in each hand. Sensors are placed strategically so that a specific area is within the range for the virtual reality experience to function. Players that stand within this range are able to view their "surroundings" as the virtual setting, and can even see their hands within the game. Game mechanics vary with each game, but usually involve natural hand movements, such as pointing, grabbing, waving, etc.
