Bachata Sensual dance originated in Cádiz, Spain around 2005. It was founded and developed by Jorge Escalona (aka Korke) & Judith Cordero Pereiro. They interpreted the music in a sensual way by expressing longer movements and body isolations. It is currently one of the most popular interpretation of the bachata dance. Bachata Sensual tends to be slower than traditional bachata and is often danced to bachata remixes of popular mainstream pop songs. Bachata Sensual dancers mix basic bachata moves and steps with circular body movements using body waves, body isolations and dips.
