History

Trader Joes is a chain of grocery stores headquartered in Monrovia, California. The chain has over 530 stores across the United States. Their first Trader Joe's store was opened in 1968 by founder Joe Coulombe in Pasadena, California.
The chain was owned by German entrepreneur Theo Albrecht from 1979 until his death when it was passed to his heirs. the company has offices in Monrovia and Boston, Massachusetts.
The first store branded as "Trader Joe's" opened in 1967 in Pasadena, California; it remains in operation.

I have always loved the feeling of walking into a Trader Joe's. The bright, colorful packaging has always put a smile on my face. Their wide array of products has given my the ability to try products inspired from around the world 🌎. Their products are alway affordable and great quality. I don't think I could shop anywhere else ❤️
I am incredibly fortunate to have such a great space in my town. Unfortunatley for some there is not a space for them to access healthy, low-cost options in thier area. If you are interested in helping others, please find your local food bank to either volunteer or donate.
