DiY

Doing it yourself - Just because you can (and it's fun!)

Why buy when you can DIY?

I love supporting my local small businesses, but I like to try making things for myself as often as possible. There's something so rewarding about making my own shelves, candles or face cleansers.

It's easy to get into a habit of buying bits and bobs as and when you need them, especially now right? You just have to do a vague search online, read some reviews and pick the cheapest, most reliable-sounding option. Only, later you realise it was cheap for a reason and you already had one in the cupboard...

There's a lot of levels to DIY, Upcycling being one of my favourites. I always feel a bit of pride when I give something that I don't use anymore a new purpose. You can click here to learn more about Upcycling and it's perks!

Well, whether you relate or you don't, I encourage you to give Doing It Yourself a try. How about scavenging some sticks and berries to make a seasonal wreath? Or maybe try your hand at making a face scrub using some apple cider vinnegar, oil and coffee grounds. Great for toning too!

🤍The top reasons that I love DIY?⚒️

Rewarding, efficient, sustainable and affordable.

You shouldn't just take my word for it, give a Free Taster DiY Workshop a go!
