Agatha Raisin πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™€οΈ

Agatha Raisin is both a book series and television series, created by author M.C. Beaton, about a high-flying former Public Relations executive who takes early retirement and moves to the (quaint yet fictional) Cotswold village of Carsely. Originally loathed by the other villagers and treated as an outsider, Agatha soon becomes a household name and local celebrity after solving a number of peculiar cases that baffle everyone, including the local constabulary.

Due to her numerous successes, Agatha eventually decides to become an official Private Investigator, establishing her own detective agency, Raisin Investigations.

Agatha Raisin made her debut in the 1992 novel, Agatha Raisin #1 'The Quiche of Death', and later made her on screen debut in a 2014 movie length television episode of the same name, portrayed by Ashley Jensen.
