The demand for at-home fitness and self-care tools was on the verge of a major renaissance just prior to 2020. Many consumers across the board, from gym-goers to casual walkers, were becoming increasingly mindful about their overall health—and ways of improving it. Fueled by advances in high-tech equipment, integrations, and virtual and augmented reality, the at-home workout experience became more similar to big gyms than ever before. Consumers wanted products to suit their lifestyles—and a wide variety of them. As a result, a more diverse and higher-quality set of home equipment and other tools emerged in markets around the globe.
