Traditional Lamb Kleftiko Recipe

Meaning "Stolen" in Greek, this recipe has been a part of Greek culinary culture for centuries. Its name derives from the thieves who would steal lambs and cook them in an undergound pit to avoid detection during the Ottoman rule. This rustic dish is made by slow-cooking marinted lamb in parchment paper and serving it with oven roasted potatoes. Traditional, hassle-free and absolutely delicious!
