I Love Fantasy Fiction
Escape into a world beyond our own...
Since childhood, I have found escaping into worlds through crafting, and
consuming artwork of all varieties, to be evermore exciting and
wonderful than our reality.
It is my experiences in
fantastical realms
that helped me to appreciate the beauty in our own world.
The ever-changing colours of seasonal plants, each low-hanging sunset
that bleeds across the sky, every affectionate sentiment or gesture. I
photograph, draw, knit and craft, reliving these moments of colour and
light, keeping them for myself, to allow me to make this reality more
alike with the wonder found in fiction.
It is these habits that accentuate the gratitude I have for the
here-and-now as well as proclaiming me a 'maker' by trade.
