The City that Never Sleeps



New York City, also know as its official nickname The Big Apple, has a rich history. Located in the state of New York, it was the capital of the United States from 1785-1790 and it is the largest city in the U.S. It is home to close to 9 million people and some of the most iconic landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty and Central Park. Culturally, the city boasts internationally known attractions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the American Museum of Natural History, and New York City Fashion Week. New Yorkers are just as diverse as the city's offerings. New Yorkers collectively speak over 800 languages. It is a true melting pot.
