Moonstone
A Magical Gem
Moonstone is a member of the orthoclase feldspar family and is smade of
two minerals --orthoclase and albite-- which form in stacked layers
within the stone. Light reflecting through the stone causes a blue or
white shimmer. Moonstone is associated with the moon and is therefore
traditionally linked to intuition, the emotions, the heart and
fertility. In the Far East, the orient, and Europe it was thought to be
a lucky stone and was used for love magic.
