Zodiac signs are all based on how the planets, sun and move travel as the earth goes around. They create paths called constellations. There are 12 different constellations:

Different constellations occur at different times of the year so depending on which month you were born, your star sign will be different. Each star sign has a different symbol that is used to represent it which was derived from the shape the stars make in the sky.
