You neeeeed this recipe in your life! These chocolate
Cut-Out-Cookies
are consistent, delicious, super chocolatey with very little 'spread'
making them perfect for making shaped cookies.
Ingredients
220g plain FLOUR
1/4 tsp BAKING POWDER
pinch of SALT
145g caster SUGAR
120g unsalted BUTTER, soft
1 tsp VANILLA
1 lg free-range EGG
40g good quality COCOA POWDER
Instructions
Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl to
evenly distribute.Set aside for later
Cream the butter and sugar together,using a handmixer,for about 20-30
sec.Add the egg and vanilla and wisk until combined.Mix the cocoa in
as well
Add half of the flower mix and combine using a spatula.Once it starts
coming together, add the second half and fold it in as well
Wrap the dough into a plastic foil and place it in the fridge for no
less than half an hour
After cooling down, roll the dough to the desired thickness and cut it
in small circles or any other shape you prefer
Bake the cookies at 175°C for about 10 minutes, depending on the size
Decorate them however you like and enjoy! 😎
