How Not to Kill Your Plants
A helpful guide from a serial plant-killer

- If you're anything like me, I know there's an ever-growing graveyard of houseplants drowned to death following you. But do not despair! Avoid over or underwatering your plants with a terracota self watering tube and go on that vacation without worrying about coming home to a withered corpse of a plant.
- Live in a windowless apartment with no natural light? Not a problem once you install some LED grow lights. It's just a small compromise on your electricity bill, but what plant-parent isn't willing to make an extra effort for their plant-children?
- So, you know it's a tropical plant originally from the Amazon rain forest and has no chance of thriving in your city apartment... but it just looks so pretty. Try to recreate it's natural habitat in your living room by placing a mister or humidifier next to it and watch it survive against all odds!
- Who ever knew plants needed to eat too?? Sounds complicated, but fret not! Choose the fertilizer best suited to your plant's needs and feed them on a regular schedule for the best results.
