I graduated in Modern China Studies in April 2020, in the midst of days that will be remembered as part of a pivotal moment in human history. My last exam was conducted in remote, in a large and bright room of one of the University’s offices of my department. In celebration, I truly thanked my Professor for having guided me through the years of the Master, and I gave myself a moment to remember how much I was helped to accomplish.
This blog was born as a way to collect and pass the many resources I came across in the years of my MA. Some were handed over to me in long conversations between friends, in front of a glass of beer, or during one of our small dinners. Some others I managed to find in my endless nights of blessed and fruitful frustration. Needless to say, I deeply believe that they deserve to be re-shared and re-shared with a loudhailer.
Even after my graduation, these resources have been a way to fuel my curiosity for China Studies beyond academia. I believe that, even when not strictly useful, they still represent an endless source of inspiration. They are made to be used, enjoyed, and shared “outside the bubble”.
