BONGO

The day the music didn't die

Against all odds, in a sketchy neighborhood in San José (Costa Rica), the music didn't die. An old humble garbage collector found something far more valuable than his regular recycling cans. In the middle of the street, was lying a malnourished, weak bulge that had been run over by a car. This was no garbage, and definitely, not a can that could get him some extra coins. Nevertheless, someone who has suffered knows exactly how to give a hand to those in need. There was space on his wheelbarrow to carry something different from the regular picks, but that also was disposed and left behind. He placed the suffering dog on it and took it to a neighbor, who was a volunteer at RESCATE ANIMAL, hoping that she would get the resources to give it some relief. She took it to one of the volunteering veterinary clinics, where after 4 months of tender love and care, the beat of the Bongo was given a second chance (and a home far away from the streets).
Since that day, Bongo's music has filled the heart of many, all the way from tropical Costa Rica to Scandinavian Sweden.
