Butterflies are an important part of the UK's wildlife!

When we see a butterfly we are often astounded by their grace and elegance, commenting on its unique features which remind us of the beauty in the world. Unfortunately four different species of butterflies have become instinct in the past 150 year, with three-quaters of British butterflies in decline. As well as adding an aesthetic value to nature, they also add scientific, educational, economic and health value.
