Coffee for Good

Australian - Ethical - Sustainable

While most of us can attest to coffee being delicious and essential, coffee bean production is an industry often subjecting its workers to exploitation.

Are you looking for ways to enjoy your coffee knowing the supply chain protects its workers and the environment?

World Vision Australia uses the term ‘ethically sourced’ to refer to coffee that is independently certified to have been harvested without the use of forced, child or trafficked labour. Other companies may also claim their products to be ethical and sustainably sourced, however World Vision Australia would encourage them to provide verification by a credible independent party that ethical practices were used throughout its production, in order to provide the most credible assurance to customers.

In 2012, World Vision Australia published The Good Coffee Guide to Australia. It provides readers lots of information about buying coffee free from forced, child and trafficked labour.
