Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way is truly breathtaking. One of my favorite things about living in the West of Ireland has been traveling along the Wild Atlantic Way. I moved to Galway one year ago, and since then have made it my mission to see as many stops along this route as I can.
The Wild Atlantic Way is a scenic route which spans Ireland's western coast. Traveling north to south, you would pass through the counties of Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Mayo, Galway, Clare, Limerick, Kerry, and Cork. There are 188 Discovery Points along the 2,600 km journey, which can be found by following marked signs. My advice- take the winding country roads slowly, enjoy the incredible views, and remember to stop along the way for plenty of pictures!
Can you guess the Discovery Point where these photos were taken? Hint: It's very close to Galway city centre!
Slán go fóill, safe travels, and best wishes from the City of Tribes!
