Film photography uses a light-sensitive film that lives inside the camera. When the shutter is open, the film is exposed to light and an impression is captured. While digital photography is quick to learn, the manual skills that come with film photography can set you up for success on digital cameras for using natural light. Before digital photography, all photos were made with light-sensitive film. Film photography gives you total control over an images exposure and shutter speed. The process allows for photographers to better understand how phtos are made. There is a lot of trial and error. One of my favorite film cameras to use is this Nikon f100.
