Libraries are gateways to knowledge, culture, libraries play a fundamental role in society. The resources and services they offer create opportunities for learning, support literacy and education, and help shape the new ideas and perspectives that are central to a creative and innovative society.
Follow these steps
Number 1: Obtain a place
Spend enough time on library strategy. Do you want it to be predominantly a study space, a meeting place, a cultural centre or an integrative place for the disadvantaged?
Number 2: Get books
Try to arrange the library in such a way that it does not look like a warehouse of books, but functions as a community place where it is possible to relax, read and talk with your peers.
