I first became interested in photography when I was young. My
introduction to photography started with Polaroid cameras. From there, I
moved on to using inexpensive point & shoot film cameras. When I was 15,
I got my first DSLR camera – a Nikon D40X. This opened up a world of
possibilities, especially when it came to being able to edit
digitally.
As I started my photography journey with film, I enjoyed trying to
emulate the look of specific film stocks. I realize this is nearly
impossible to do precisely, but so many editing software tools allow us
to get similar results. My favorite film stocks include Kodachrome,
Ektachrome, and Aerochrome.
