Hi there!
My name is Maria, and I am a 24 year old Marketer working in Toronto.
The idea of the podcast was born after talking to some of my friends about the obstacles they've overcome to get to where they are today - things that I didn't even know they had gone through. Throughout these conversations, a lot of these things resonated with me so I started opening up about my own experiences as well. I couldn't help but tell my friends I was proud of them and I realized that we don't say "I'm proud of you" enough.
As young adults, we go through a ton of experiences and struggles that we don't even talk about - so why not share them and help others?
The Girl, I'm Proud of You podcast was created to highlight the triumphs and discuss the obstacles that 20-something year old women face as they navigate through their personal and professional lives.
