The Lamino Chair

The Lamino armchair was designed in 1956 by the Swedish Architect Yngve Ekström, and is still today produced in the county of Småland. Småland is famous for its rich history in furniture design and is also where the international furniture giant IKEA first was founded. The bodily curviness defines the Lamino chair, and it is found in many Swedish homes. The sheepskin clad seating is ideal for cold Nordic winter evenings.

The CH25 was one of the first four chairs created by the Danish designer Hans.J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Søn. The collaboration was initiated in 1949 and the district paper string weaving of the seating and back rest area was revolutionary at the time.
