Bone broth is made by boiling down animal bones and connective tissue.
It is rich in minerals that help build and strengthen your bones. It
also contains many other healthy nutrients, including vitamins, amino
acids, and essential fatty acids. Being so nutrient-dense it is can be
used for soups, sauces, and health drinks, with numerous benefits.
First, the gelatin in bone broth supports healthy digestion,
and it has been shown to help promote feelings of fullness. Consuming it
on a regular basis may reduce calorie intake and lead to weight loss
over time.
Secondly, the amino acids in bone broth help support joint
health, and consuming it may help lessen the symptoms of osteoarthritis.
Lastly, glycine has been shown to promote sleep. Taking it
before bed may help improve quality of sleep, mental function, and
memory.
But how do you make it?
You can find many recipes online, but once you grant the hero of the
story (the bone) you can work with your fantasy and your taste.
Here I will share with you my personal and favourite, the result of
many attempts for perfection.
