An introductory course into marine biology and research
About me:
Greetings! My name is Chelsey Navarro. I am a marine biologist from Massachusetts. I have spent the past 10 years studying biology with a specialty in marine ecology. My experience ranges from whales behavior to shore crab physiology. I have conducted studies in places like Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Southern California. Marine biology is truly my passion and in this course, I hope to show you why!
About the course:
This course will cover various topics in marine biology and marine ecology including and introduction to oceanography, marine plant and animal diversity, and marine ecology as well as basic research practices. You will conduct your own research project and get hands-on experience out in the field!
