commonly known as the Manuka bush. Mānuka Honey’s antibacterial properties
are what set it apart from traditional honey. Methylglyoxal is its active ingredient
and likely responsible for these antibacterial effects. Additionally, Manuka
honey has antiviral, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits.
