Yes, you read it right! It exists, right in the middle of the Atlantic
Ocean and it's known as Madeira Island (Região Autónoma da Madeira).
Madeira is one of the two autonomous regions of Portugal and includes
the islands of Madeira, Porto Santo, Desertas and Selvagens. Was
discovered by Portuguese sailors back in 1419 and since then its beauty
has been explored, attracting millions of visitors from all over the
world per year. This island is well-noted for its Madeira wine,
gastronomy, flora and fauna, historical and cultural value, fireworks,
beaches (mainly in Porto Santo) and, of course, its landscapes. Perfect
for any trip with your family, friends or loved ones.
I had the pleasure to travel for many cities, countries and different
islands, but this continues to be my favorite place in the world! How
lucky am I to be born here?!! 🍀
