The Roman Catholic Church of St. Nicholas is the second oldest Roman Catholic church in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It was built in the early 20th century in the neo-Gothic style, by a famous polish architect Vladyslav Gorodetskyi. In Soviet times, the building was closed and used as an office space. Due to neglect, it sustained damages and was left in poor condition. Today the building is shared between the Roman Catholic Church of Ukraine and the National Organ and Chamber Music Hall of Ukraine.On the night of 3 September 2021, the church caught fire and was severely damaged. The fire destroyed the organ and damaged the interior of the church. The church can be restored by the Roman Catholic Church in Ukraine.
