BTS: Bulletproof Boy Scouts

BTS is a Korean boy band that debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment and comprises of 7 members: RM, Jin, V, J-Hope, Jimin, Suga and Jungkook. Over the years they have created a wide variety of songs covering hip hop, pop, R&B and EDM. Recently BTS has been gaining a lot of attention overseas after releasing songs with Halsey, Sia and Nicki Minaj. They have featured on many awards shows like the MTV VMAs and the Billboard Music Awards and also TV shows such as Carpool Karoke with James Corbin which has only further increased the number of fans this group has. They are also well known for their high budget, visually appealing and over the top music videos which see a swarm of fans tuning in for the previews on YouTube. Their latest release was for their first ever song entirely in English called Dynamite which broke YouTube records with 3 million views in 24 hours.

• 

  RM
  He is considered the leader of the group and is fluent in English after learning from watching the tv show Friends. RM was the first member to join BTS and is one of three rappers in the group.
• 

  Jin
  Jin is the oldest member of the group and originally joined Big Hit Entertainment as an actor before becoming an idol trainee and joining the group. He is one of the singers in the group.
• 

  Jimin
  He is one of the singers as well as one of the main dancers. Jimin is well known for his delicate higher pitch voice and was the last member to join BTS.
• 

  Suga
  He first joinined Big Hit Entertainment as a music producer before joining BTS as a rapper. Suga jokes he was deceived by the CEO of Big Hit Entertainment as he was told he would not have to dance if he joined BTS.



• 

  V
  V is one of the singers in BTS and iswell known for his deep husky voice. He has also been praised for his vocal range after his performace of Stigma, his solo song.
• 

  J-Hope
  He is both a rapper and one of the main dancers in BTS. J-Hope started out as just a dancer before joining BTS and it was his skills in dancing that led to his interest in singing.
• 

  Jungkook
  Jungkook is a singer and one of the main dancers in the group as well as the youngest member. He receieved offers from multiple companies but eventually chose Big Hit Entertainment after seeing RM perform
