Hi there! I'm Lise, a French expat living in Copenhagen. One of the
thing that I love is to discover and try out bakeries. I love bread, I
love pastries, and it soon became a weekend ritual to hop-on my bike and
go around the city to visit bakeries.
One weekend after the other, I became quite an expert about bakeries in
Copenhagen, both the go-to ones, as well as the don't-go-to ones!! With
this review, I would like to share with you my recommendations on which
bakery to visit, wherther you're looking for bread, or pastries.
Here's my list of my go-to bakeries in Copenhagen:
This little bakery will delight you with bread and probably the crispiest pastries of Copenhagen!
InstagramIn the heart of Norebrø, arrive early or queue up to enjoy Mirabelle's offering.
InstagramNested in the center of Copenhagen old town, Sankt Peders Bageri will treat you with nordic pastries. Avoid Saturdays and its tourists, closed on Sundays.
InstagramYou'll find Hart in Frederiskberg or Holmen.
InstagramAt the beginning of Ama is Alice, ready to treat you with pastries or ice-cream, depending on your mood!
InstagramEstablished in the secret Østerbro, you'll find Juno by the constant queue in front of it. They're baking all day long, warm pastries always garanteed!
InstagramHidden from the main street in Island Brugge, pass through the gate, sit down and savour what Il Buco can offer.
InstagramThe buzzling Andersen Bakery has many treats to offer, grab one and sit outside.
InstagramOn the outskurt of Nørrebro, cycling the extra mile to reach Collective Bakery is totally worth it.

As you can see, there's a multitude of bakeries to visit in Copenhagen!
