Are you a coffee, tea, or matcha drinker?

Me? I love Matcha tea!

Matcha is finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves, traditionally consumed in East Asia. The green tea plants used for matcha are shade-grown for three to four weeks before harvest; the stems and veins are removed during processing. During shaded growth, the plant Camellia sinensis produces more theanine and caffeine.

I prefer matcha as my source of caffeine in the morning due to its benefits. Apart from the benefits, I like making it using a traditional whisker and a Japanese bowl. This routine makes it zen for me and I find it a great way to start the day.

During summer time, I like my matcha drink cold and if it's a cooler weather I make hot matcha drink. I normally do matcha latte than having it as it is. I use oat milk and tastes so delicious. Regular milk works just as great too.

I have included a link to website where it discuss the benefits of matcha. Please click here for more information.
