Meringue is a type of dessert, often associated with French, Swiss and
Italian cuisines. French meringue is made with raw egg whites and sugar.
Swiss meringue is made when eggs and sugar are cooked together before
being whipped to cool. Italian meringue is made with a hot sugar syrup
being added to whipped egg whites.
Look at the photo! I have captured the features from these three types
of meringue and created my own recipe. My homemade meringues are chewy
and soft with a crisp exterior, while many commercial meringues are
crisp throughout. Make perfect meringues with my meringue recipe!
