Purple!
The Wonders of Colour
There are many shades of this wonderful colour such as:
- Violet,
- Plum,
- Wine,
- Lilac, and
- Amethyst.
Purple is very special to me because it takes two colours I appreciate (red and blue) in various combinations to create such as a beautiful colour. It also occurs naturally in flowers such as Lavenders, Lilacs and Pansies. Purple can also be found in precious stones such as amethyst and diamonds. It is rarely found in the feathers of birds or fur of animals though. It is also closely associated with royalty, majesty and power.
