EndoCare Across Canada

Our mission is to get reliable, expert endometriosis care in each Canadian province and territory.

Endometriosis is a chronic disease where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus.
This causes lesions, adhesions and scar tissue, which leads to pain, nausea, brain fog and other debilitating symptoms.

Why is expert Endometriosis
care so important?

Medication icon

There is no medication that treats endometriosis.
Drug treatments only suppress symptoms.

Doctor icon

General OB-GYN may perform surgery for endometriosis.
They may, however, lack the training/experience to perform it successfully.

There are two methods for removing endometriois.
Ablation burns out the lesions, while excision cuts it out.

Medical chart icon

Ablation only removes the root of the lesion.
Excision is the gold standard of endometriosis care.

X-ray icon

Proper excision surgery can be as complicated as brain surgery.
If endometriosis isn't completely removed, symptoms will persist and progress.
